Requirements

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical Program or an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program (Associate’s Degree required)
• Current Florida State License as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation
• Function independently in the absence of the Team Leader
• Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy treatments for patients of all ages
• Accurately document treatments and maintain electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards
