About The Position

The RN Transplant is a professional registered nurse and a designated member of the transplant team who provides comprehensive nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. The RN works with patients and their families beginning with the evaluation and will continue through the transplant process. The Union West Oncology Infusion Clinic provides comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care in a modern, state-of-the-art setting. Located within the Union West Medical Plaza, the clinic offers convenient access to advanced oncology services for patients in the surrounding communities. The clinic delivers multidisciplinary care, including medical oncology, surgical oncology and hematology, with treatment available for a wide range of cancers such as breast, lung, gastrointestinal, prostate and hematologic conditions.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program upon hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
