About The Position

The RN Transplant is a professional registered nurse and a designated member of the transplant team who provides comprehensive nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. The RN works with patients and their families beginning with the evaluation and will continue through the transplant process. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program upon hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
• Oncology and triage experience
