About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this specialized role will provide primary coverage for the programs within the Strong Minds Clinic and virtual support for other programs as assigned. This position is ideal for a compassionate, team-oriented professional with strong assessment and communication skills. Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) license
Strong assessment and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in psychiatric care or outpatient settings is highly preferred.
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
Processing refill requests.
Managing prior authorizations.
Conducting health screens.
Providing in-basket coverage.
Administering long-acting injectable medications.
Performing telephone triage.
Other related duties.
