About The Position

The Labor & Delivery Department at Texas Health Rockwall is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This is a part-time night position, working 24 hours per week with two 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am, including weekends and holidays. The department offers a supportive team environment, a family atmosphere, and a strong shared governance structure. Nurses will have access to new and advanced equipment and technology. New hires will need to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington for the first 1-5 days.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
1 year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within 2 years of hire
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring course completion required within 6 months of hire
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
