Registered Nurse, RN - Inpatient Wound Care
About The Position
Centinela Hospital Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join its award-winning team. Centinela Hospital Medical Center has been serving the communities of Inglewood and the wider Los Angeles area for 100 years. It is a 362-bed acute-care hospital with a 24-hour STEMI certified emergency department and primary stroke center, offering orthopedic care, advanced cardiac services, critical care services, inpatient and outpatient rehab programs, and more. Requirements
- Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
- BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Wound Care Certification within first year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year).
- Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic.
- Evaluates inpatient wounds.
- Communicates with physicians, charge nurse, and co-workers regarding changes in patient's treatment, clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
