About The Position

This position is for an RN III in an outpatient Urology Office at St. Peter's Health Partner's. The role involves planning and providing professional nursing services and standards of practice, integrating the art, science, leadership, and knowledge of nursing clinical practice through relationship-centered, compassionate, ethical, and respectful direct/indirect healthcare services. The nurse will uphold Trinity Health's Mission, Values, Vision, Actions, and Promise, practice in an environmentally safe and professional manner, and maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. The role also emphasizes compassion, communication, stewardship, professional development, and adherence to the professional nursing process (Assess, Diagnose, Outcomes Identification/Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate). As an RN III, the practice is guided by the nursing process and policy/procedure/standards, with a focus on a specific area of expertise. The role involves advancing professional/shared governance, collaborating inter- and intra-professionally, delegating to others, assuming an expanded role with increased responsibility, leading a small team, and serving as a nursing practice mentor.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice / employment.
  • Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area.
