About The Position
This Registered Nurse (RN II) position is within the Medically Complex unit at Texas Health Dallas. The role involves delivering care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse will also incorporate age-specific safety and infection control measures, initiate actions to meet patient information needs, and maintain continuity of patient care across shifts and facilities.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
- One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support and ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Req
- RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
