About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or Critical Care nursing experience
- At least 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
- Strong proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of New York)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, including IV therapy and conscious sedation
- Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion and phlebotomy
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care
