Leaders and nurses are home-grown and enjoy many years of tenure. Private duty nursing involves working full shifts (8s, 10s, or 12s) with one client for the entire shift. Nurses work with local clients nearby with short commutes. Common diagnoses BAYADA Skilled Nurses work on include TBI, CP, Premature Birth, Spinal Muscle Atrophy, and Epilepsy. RNs working in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have directly transferable skills and are well-equipped to handle one client in the home.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Responsibilities

One-to-one client care
Provide care for clients with common diagnoses such as TBI, CP, Premature Birth, Spinal Muscle Atrophy, and Epilepsy.
