About The Position

This is a Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Nights position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool at Texas Health Dallas. The role involves working with ill patients and providing life-saving care, utilizing cutting-edge medical technology and equipment, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. Training will be conducted at the corporate office in Arlington for the first 1-5 days of hire.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma in Nursing or Associate’s degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program.
Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire.
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

1 year of Progressive Care Cardiac Unit or Telemetry experience preferred.
