About The Position

This is a Full Time position for a Registered Nurse/RN Float Pool in the PCCU/Telemetry unit, working Days (7am-7pm) for 36 hours weekly. The role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to provide life-saving care to ill patients with diverse needs, utilizing cutting-edge medical technology and equipment. The position requires attending orientation and training at the corporate office in Arlington for the first 1-5 days of hire.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing or Associate’s degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program for staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
  • NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year of Progressive Care Cardiac Unit, Telemetry, or Med Surg experience preferred
