About The Position

Addison Gilbert Hospital, located in Gloucester, MA, is a 79-bed medical acute care facility serving the Cape Ann Community. The Emergency Department is a Stroke Ready Hospital and a primary point of entry for this service, staffed 24/7 by Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physicians. The department features 10 private exam rooms equipped for various emergencies including cardiac, pediatric, OBGYN, and respiratory. It also supports patients with Behavioral Health emergencies through BILH Crisis Screening and Recovery Coach services. ED Technicians provide ancillary patient support.

Requirements

• MA RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS can be obtained on hire

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Serve as a primary point of entry for Stroke Ready Hospital services.
• Support patients with Behavioral Health emergencies.
• Utilize ancillary patient support from ED Technicians.
