Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room
About The Position
A healthcare facility in Woodstock, Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with Level II or III experience to join its emergency nursing staff. This is an on-site clinical position within a 17-bed Emergency Department that maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. The ER RN will provide direct patient care across the full spectrum of emergency presentations in a fast-paced acute setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing triage, conducting thorough patient assessments, delivering timely clinical interventions, and coordinating closely with the broader care team to ensure seamless and effective emergency care delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of emergency department nursing experience required

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across a wide range of emergency presentations
- Perform triage and prioritize patients based on clinical acuity
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and identify evolving clinical needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in time-sensitive situations
- Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation for all patient encounters
- Uphold patient safety standards and follow established emergency department protocols
- Support a collaborative, patient-centered care environment within a 17-bed unit
