About The Position
A healthcare facility in Montrose is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join its emergency department team. These night shift opportunities are ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients with urgent and emergent medical needs. The Emergency Room RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to prioritize care effectively while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience.
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition.
- Deliver timely nursing interventions and emergency care treatments.
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
- Promote patient safety and provide compassionate care in a high-acuity environment.
