About The Position

Registered Nurse – Weekend Program | Nights (5/6) Join our team as a Registered Nurse in our Weekend Program, designed for experienced nurses who value a consistent schedule and the opportunity to provide high-quality care while working primarily on weekends. The Registered Nurse functions as an integral member of the healthcare team and practices within the scope of practice established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and organizational policies and procedures. The RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care, as well as monitoring and evaluating each patient's response to interventions. The RN collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care and to promote optimal patient outcomes. Weekend Program Schedule Shift: Nights Weekend Program: 5/6 Weekend is defined as: Saturday at 7:00 AM through Monday at 7:00 AM Weekend Program nurses are expected to fulfill the established weekend commitment as part of the position.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
  • Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • PALS certification required within one year of hire
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • The ability to recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
  • Effective communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered care
  • The ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment
