About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting. This role is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. The RN utilizes established nursing frameworks to ensure optimal patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) – required within 30 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 30 days of hire
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification – within 6 months
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – within 1 year
  • PALS or ENPC (Pediatric Emergency certification) – within 6 months
  • Minimum of 6 months of Emergency Department RN experience required

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient conditions, including pain levels, and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Perform treatments, procedures, and monitoring as ordered by providers
  • Accurately document all patient care activities in a timely manner
  • Deliver responsive, proactive, and high-quality patient care
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
  • Communicate complex medical information in a clear and understandable way
  • Promote patient independence through education on disease prevention and lifestyle changes
  • Advocate for patients to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care
  • Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
  • Support quality improvement and departmental performance initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory standards
