About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-acuity care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in an intensive care setting. This role involves managing complex cases, including ventilator support and continuous IV drips, while delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The RN plays a key role in ensuring optimal clinical outcomes, advocating for patients, and supporting families throughout the care journey.

Requirements

Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days)
Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS Certification (required within 30 days of hire)
ACLS Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care ICU RN experience (within the last 2–3 years) OR 2+ years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience

Responsibilities

Deliver advanced critical care to CVICU patients, including ventilator management and vasoactive drips
Continuously assess patient condition and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care with a focus on safety and outcomes
Advocate for patients while ensuring privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery processes
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
Adhere to established clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
