The Emergency Department at St. Luke’s Hospital is newly renovated, one of the largest in the state with 60 care spaces, and handles over 200 patients daily. St. Luke’s Hospital is a quaternary care site designated as a comprehensive stroke center, trauma level 3 center, and chest pain accredited. The department is seeking skilled and compassionate tenured nurses to join its team of nursing excellence, aiming for a 6th Magnet designation. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures, utilizing evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
