About The Position

The UH Geneva Emergency is a 12 bed Critical Access Emergency Department. It is a DNV accredited chest pain center and Rainbow Babies and Children branded facility. This role provides safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process to assist them in attaining, maintaining, regaining, and sustaining optimal health status.

Requirements

• Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing Required or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
• Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)
• Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency)
• Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required based on clinical area standards.
