About The Position

UH St. John’s Emergency Department is a 24 bed, Level 3 Trauma Center. It features 2 trauma rooms and a super track area for lower acuity patients. The department is Stroke Certified and Chest Pain Accredited. This position is for a New Grad RN, offering a nurse-focused, supportive, and education-focused culture with a Nurse Residency Program to assist in Transition To Practice. Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
