About The Position

This is a Weekender Registered Nurse position on the Digestive & Pulmonary Health Acute Care Unit (Lakeside 55). This unit is a 20-bed non-telemetry floor focusing on gastrointestinal and pulmonary health. It is described as a supportive, fun, and family-like unit with a mix of experienced nurses and new graduates, offering a great learning environment. The role requires working two 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday, compensated at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for these shifts. Weekenders qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, with other benefits at part-time levels. Requirements

1 year of RN experience required
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.
Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
