About The Position
The RN Dialysis Apheresis is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patient groups during a designated time frame and procedure. This role provides care to patients through the therapeutic use of the nursing process, environment, treatment, and modalities, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration. The RN coordinates, delegates, and provides direct nursing care for patients by working cooperatively with patients, family members, and patient care team members.
Requirements
- Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned patient group for a designated time frame and during dialysis apheresis procedure.
- Provide care to patients via therapeutic use of the nursing process, environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
