About The Position

The UAMS Apheresis Clinic is the only one of its kind in the state of Arkansas. We focus on improving patient outcomes by performing advanced apheresis techniques, research, and educating students and Residents. This position will provide direct patient care to inpatient and outpatient populations with a wide variety of conditions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
• Valid RN License
• Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

• BSN RN
• BLS certification
• Experienced in critical care, myeloma, or dialysis
• Experienced with indwelling ports and catheters

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients during the collection of HPC and during therapeutic plasma exchanges, TP, Photopheresis, White blood cell reduction, and platelet reduction.
