About The Position

Northwell at Sharon Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor and Delivery setting. This position provides direct patient care, including assessment and planning for individualized patient care. The RN will communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient's clinical condition, including fetal monitoring and diagnostic study results, and respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment response. The role also involves performing general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision and participating in performance improvement activities. Requirements

CT Registered Nurse Licensure.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
BLS certification required.
Neonatal Resuscitation certification (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
Successful completion of STABLE Neonatal Program within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of RN Labor and Delivery experience.
Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) preferred.
