Northwell at Sharon Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Delivery Room. Requirements
- CT Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
- Successful completion of STABLE Neonatal Program within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- One year of RN Labor and Delivery experience.
- Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM).
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting.
- Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
- Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
