About The Position
Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is an independently licensed hospital located on the campus of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. We are a 47-bed facility including a 20 bed Cardiovascular ICU and a 27-bed cardiac telemetry unit. Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is accredited for Chest Pain through The Joint Commission. We have achieved AHA’s Gold Plus award for three years in a row plus AHA’s Gold Plus award for Heart Failure. We specialize in CABG and Valve surgeries, thoracotomies, general cardiac including heart failure, cardiomyopathies, AMI, TAVR, Impella, and heart catheterizations including angioplasty, stenting, and electrophysiology studies. Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
- 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse required
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
Nice To Haves
- Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, robotic surgery experience strongly preferred
