About The Position

This is a temporary Registered Nurse position in Critical Care at Berkshire Health System. The unit has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. The nurse will be responsible for providing care in the Critical Care unit and may be required to float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed. Orientation is 8 hours and non-billable. Holiday and Overtime multipliers are 1.25%.

Requirements

• 2 years current Critical Care experience
• Willingness to float REQUIRED
• Vent, ICP Monitoring and Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Meditech Expanse experience
• Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
• Massachusetts RN license - Must be uploaded with profile
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Active American Heart Association ACLS
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale NIHSS
• MA license MUST be in-hand. Facility will not pend license. No exceptions.

• Trauma Nursing Core Course TNCC
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN

Responsibilities
