About The Position

This position utilizes principles of leadership, change theory, and adult education to improve nursing practice and promote quality care. It supports system and Nursing Strategic Plans, Relationship-Based Care, and Shared Leadership. The position will specifically support bedside education needed in the ICU.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1–3 years of clinical nurse practice experience required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license through the Virginia Department of Health Professions required.
• Nursing Professional Development certification through ANCC required within 1½ years.
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute required.
