About The Position

This position supports bedside education needed in the ICU. The Clinical Educator uses principles of leadership, change theory, and adult education to improve nursing practice and promote quality care. The role supports system and Nursing Strategic Plans, Relationship-Based Care, and Shared Leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of clinical nurse practice experience required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license through the Virginia Department of Health Professions Nursing required.
• Nursing Professional Development Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) required within 1-1/2 years.
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
