About The Position

The Nurse Educator works within the Education Department and collaborates with Medical Center departments to assess, implement, and evaluate educational and development programs for Memorial Medical Center, independently and collaboratively. The Nurse Educator provides services to patients throughout the life span. The role uses specialized plan-of-care interventions and serves as a patient-care innovator, helping shape patient journeys and support patient well-being.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• PALS certification within six months of hire.
• At least 3 years of RN experience.
• Educational or teaching experience, with a focus on simulation-based training.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years of RN experience preferred.
