About The Position

This is a Seasonal Registered Nurse position in the Central Staffing Office, specifically for the NICU unit, working PRN shifts on Days, with an expected commitment of 24 hours per week. The role requires a strong understanding of basic human needs, human respect, appreciation of unique meanings, affiliation needs, mutual problem solving, attentive reassurance, and the creation of a healing environment. Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma Required or Associate’s degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
  • 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
