Registered Nurse (RN): Cardiac/Telemetry
About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Cardiac Telemetry unit (7 South) at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. The unit has 21 beds and provides care for patients with diagnoses including Cardiac Arrhythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, and Peritoneal Dialysis. RNs on this unit are expected to master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation, and Telemetry. ACLS certification is required within 6 months, with the ability to respond to all in-house Code 4 calls. The unit offers a supportive learning environment, a team approach, and patient-centric care to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Newly Licensed RN’s and Experienced RN’s Welcome!
- Bachelor of science in nursing preferred
- ACLS certified within 6 months
- Ability to respond to all in house Code 4 calls

- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
