Hospice RN- After Hours Triage
About The Position
Beyond Hospice, part of Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to support hospice patients and families during evening and overnight hours. The role provides after-hours telephone triage, symptom assessment and intervention, and in-person visits when clinically necessary. The schedule is 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., with a preferred rotation of seven nights on followed by seven days off. Pay is $48.70–$56.66 per hour, with an additional $200 per on-call shift. In-person visits are paid separately at the applicable RN hourly rate. Episcopal Homes of Minnesota has served older adults and families in St. Paul for more than 130 years. Requirements
- Current Minnesota RN license.
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work confidently and independently.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities
- Provide after-hours telephone triage for hospice patients and families.
- Assess symptoms and determine appropriate interventions.
- Make in-person visits when needed.
- Provide comfort-focused nursing care and symptom management.
- Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers.
- Collaborate with physicians and the hospice interdisciplinary team.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
