About The Position

Under the direct supervision of a nurse preceptor, the Registered Nurse Resident renders nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with professional nursing practice and physician and/or advanced practice clinician treatment plans to provide quality patient care. The position is based at LOH Main in Naperville and is full time, with day and PM hours.

Requirements

A baccalaureate degree or higher in Nursing is required. In limited cases, candidates with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing may be considered, subject to the stated approval and performance criteria, and must obtain a baccalaureate degree or higher within the specified timeframe.
Documented proof of passing the NCLEX and an Illinois RN license application, including payment of required fees, upon the position start date.
Obtain a State of Illinois RN license within 90 days, subject to the stated provision for licensure processing extensions. License-pending candidates must practice under the direction of a registered professional nurse until licensed or denied.
Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire.
