Registered Nurse - Radiology
About The Position
The Radiology Registered Nurse delivers safe, direct patient care using the nursing process and within the scope of nursing practice. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, the nurse supports high-quality care and service throughout the continuum of care. The role supports the Radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, helps maintain equipment and inventory, and checks that procedure rooms and equipment are functioning and ready. The nurse follows applicable regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures, participates in performance improvement activities, department meetings, and in-services, and serves as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) certification.
- One year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience.
- Ventilator Management experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Responsibilities
