About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Behavioral Health team. The Psychiatric Nurse provides high-quality care to patients experiencing mental health challenges. This position is located in Laconia, New Hampshire, and offers a 36-hour guarantee per week, with a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

- Experience in psychiatric nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders.
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatments.
- Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
