About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatric Nursing to provide high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges in a dynamic environment. The position is in Laconia, New Hampshire, with a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM and a guaranteed 36-hour workweek.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Additional certifications may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor patients' behavior and mental state, providing therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to facility initiatives.
