About The Position
We are seeking an experienced PCU RN to provide high-quality care to patients with complex and evolving medical needs. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor responses, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Neuro PCU experience is required.
Requirements
- 2+ years of RN experience
- Neuro PCU experience
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- Active Michigan RN License
- Current PCU skills checklist
- Two recent supervisory references
Nice To Haves
- Recent travel experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process.
- Assess patients, monitor changes, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and patient education.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and collaborate on care-plan updates.
- Delegate and coordinate care with nursing support staff and the interdisciplinary team.
- Float to other PCU/Med-Surg units as needed.
