MUSC Community Physicians is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our Urgent Care team in Elgin, South Carolina. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process while collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and fellow healthcare professionals. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained prior to completion of orientation).
- Some positions may require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care that addresses physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and educational needs.
- Coordinate care and promote patient education to support positive health outcomes.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and healing environment for patients, families, and coworkers.
- Prioritize patient needs while applying sound clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Participate in professional development, shared governance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to nursing excellence.
