About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Registered Nurse - Primary Care at Pearl Harbor-Hickam near Honolulu, HI. This role involves coordinating patient care, performing physical exams, providing health education, administering medications and interventions, making patient care assignments, and arranging specialty care. Requirements

• BSN degree
• Active RN license
• 1 year of experience within the past 2 years as a Registered Nurse
• BLS through American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Perform physical exams and health histories.
• Provide health promotions, counseling and education.
• Administer medications, wound care and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Accountable for making patients care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
• Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
