We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide primary care services to an adult Medicaid population with complex medical needs. The RN will work Monday through Friday during business hours, with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. This position will support two locations based on operational needs: Salem (331 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970) and Saugus (1069 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906). The schedule will be planned in advance, with the RN working at one location for the full day. The role will include a mix of triage and nurse visits, working collaboratively with the care team to support the needs of the patient population. Summary: Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required
  • Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred
  • Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
  • Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
