About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Primary Care Ambulatory setting, located in Upland, Indiana, with a unique partnership with Taylor University. The role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to the local community and students. Responsibilities include triage support for phone calls and walk-in visits, administering allergy injections, coordinating medication refills, patient education, and supporting preventive and chronic disease management. The nurse will work with a collaborative team of four providers (two physicians and two APPs) in a stable Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This outpatient environment offers clinical variety, teamwork, and a predictable work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may apply with >2 years of experience, subject to CNO approval)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
