Join Indiana University Health’s Ambulatory Urgent Care team in Fort Wayne (Lima Road), where RNs deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced walk-in clinic that evaluates and treats acute injuries and illnesses while supporting 1–2 providers daily. Clinical responsibilities include venipuncture, medication administration (oral and injectable), wound care, DME application, EKGs, point-of-care testing, ear irrigation, and Occupational Health services such as physicals, drug screens, and breath alcohol testing. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and weekends, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; no call is required, though weekend and holiday shifts may be requested. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of RN experience, preferably in Urgent Care or Occupational Health, and are seeking strong provider collaboration, career growth, and the exceptional benefits of Indiana’s leading healthcare system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with >2 years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN)
  • 2+ years of RN experience
  • Experience in Urgent Care or Occupational Health
