Join our Urgent Care team in Fort Wayne (Lima Road), where RNs deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care walk‑in clinic supporting 1–2 providers per day and offering Occupational Health services. This PRN role requires a minimum of one shift every 30 days, with clinic hours Monday–Friday 8am–8pm and weekends 8am–6pm; no call is required, though weekend or holiday shifts may be requested. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of RN experience (Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred) and are seeking meaningful work, strong provider collaboration, and the stability, benefits, and career growth opportunities of Indiana’s leading healthcare system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of RN experience.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

  • Urgent Care or Occupational Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care walk-in clinic.
  • Support 1-2 providers per day.
  • Offer Occupational Health services.
  • Assess patients without face-to-face interaction (may require).
  • Understand the legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
