About The Position

Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and ASC policies and procedures. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. Participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment. The role requires critical thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and adherence to ethical and legal nursing practices. The nurse must maintain accurate medical records, manage time effectively, and respond to emergent situations. Participation in continuing education, staff meetings, and fostering a healthy work environment are also expected. The position requires adherence to the work schedule with minimal absences.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
  • Current RN License required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
  • Minimum previous nursing experience in at least one of the following settings: ambulatory surgical center (ASC), PACU, ICU, Medical Surgical or Telemetry floors
  • Must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge of patient monitoring and emergency equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
