About The Position

Indiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our team and collaborate with top medical professionals. The Postpartum unit at IU Health Bloomington is part of our Perinatal & Pediatric Services and offers 24 private rooms with an average 1:3 couplet nurse‑to‑patient ratio, while also caring for low‑risk antepartum patients. Grounded in the IU Health values of Purpose, Excellence, Compassion, and Team, we create an environment where families feel genuinely cared for and caregivers feel truly supported. Our nurses are known for providing uplifting, relationship‑based care—and they genuinely love what they do. With leadership serving as the unit’s biggest cheerleader, the atmosphere is one of joy, teamwork, and shared commitment. It’s a unit where meaningful connections are made and where both families and team members can grow and thrive. Our culture of compassion allows for a holistic delivery of care that is individualized based on our patients’ and their families’ needs. At IU Health, every team member is a caregiver.
