As a Registered Nurse (RN) Phone Triage Nurse at Indiana Heart Physicians, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently handling patient calls and electronic messages. Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing/Patient Care
- 1 year of Nursing/Patient Care experience in acute care or ambulatory settings
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certification required - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) license - State Licensing Board
- Up to 20% travel required

Responsibilities
- Respond to patient calls and electronic messages.
- Prioritize concerns based on clinical urgency.
- Provide education within the scope of practice.
- Ensure timely resolution of patient needs.
- Facilitate care coordination by scheduling appropriate appointments.
- Obtain prior authorizations.
- Process prescription refills.
- Support continuity of care across the patient journey.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient communications, clinical assessments, and care interventions in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.
