About The Position

This role involves providing high-quality direct nursing care across diverse specialty units within Dell Children's Medical Center, specifically in the Pediatric Float department. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, executing clinical orders, and documenting patient status. This position requires adaptability and the ability to coordinate care across multiple medical disciplines to optimize patient outcomes. The schedule is full-time, nights.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Possess or obtain ACLS/NRP certifications within 6 months of hire
4+ years of inpatient Pediatric experience
Advanced Life Support preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
