Registered Nurse – Pediatric Behavioral Health (Travel)
About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Pediatric Behavioral Health for a 16-week travel assignment in Oregon City, OR. This role supports a child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit, providing care to pediatric and adolescent patients experiencing acute behavioral health crises. Assignment Details Contract Length: 16 weeks Shift: Night shift, 3×12s (1900–0700) Scheduling: Block scheduling Patient Population: Pediatrics & Adolescents Charting: Epic Float: Yes, based on unit needs Weekends: Every other weekend Compensation W-2 Hourly Rate: $15/hour Weekly Tax-Free Stipends: $1,246 Total Weekly Gross: $1,786 Travel and local candidates may be considered per contract guidelines. Unit & Clinical Details Child/Adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit Patient ratios: Days: 1:4–5 per RN Nights: 1:2 RNs for 20 beds Interdisciplinary support includes social services, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and unit secretaries Patients typically range from ages 6–17 All requested time off must be submitted upfront during application. Requirements
- Active RN license (state requirements apply)
- Minimum 1 year of recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
- Pediatric and/or adolescent behavioral health experience required
- BLS required
- Prior travel experience required
- Ability to float between units and affiliated facilities as needed
- Must have reliable transportation for floating assignments
- Epic experience required
